SuperOx Japan LLC was established in 2011 as a company engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sale of next-generation high-temperature superconducting (2G-HTS) wire in Japan, and has been able to enter its 11th year with the support of universities, companies, and research institutes in Japan and overseas.

Now that the SDGs are a major issue, superconducting technologies that can reduce CO2 emissions and use energy efficiently are demonstrating great power in various fields such as electric power, railways, and medical care.
At the time of its founding, it started with only a few people and aimed to manufacture 100 km per year.
In 2021, 10 years after our founding, we added a new factory and increased the number of employees, and the current production volume has reached 300 km per year. As a result, it was very encouraging to be selected as one of the "Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies in Asia" (Financial Times, NIKKEI Asia) in 2021 and 2022.
SuperOx Japan will continue to work hard to meet the various needs of our customers, realize mass production of long-length wire with higher performance and lower cost than ever before, and aim to supply 1,000 km ~ 10,000 km per year in the future.
We will also expand the employment of electrical and mechanical engineers, develop technologies for superconducting wire applications, and contribute to the continuous development of society toward the future.
We will strive to ensure that superconducting technology, which can enable environmentally friendly, eco-friendly and clean energy supply, will be widely used in our life.
